TIREMAX Offers New Franchises In Texas
New Franchise Opportunity Delivers Exceptional Business System In The Retail Tire Industry
Conroe, TX - (March 9, 2010) - For the first time, customers of TIREMAX of North Americacan buy more than just tires and wheels. Today, TIREMAX, known for its name brand tires installed in 30 minutes or less, announced it is now selling franchises to Texans. Each franchise will be locally owned and operated.
TIREMAX offers a unique approach to the retail tire industry -- it delivers impeccably clean, well-merchandised showrooms and offers customers the red carpet treatment.
“We are passionate about the TIREMAX brand and what it has to offer,” said Christopher T. Wilkerson, president of The TIREMAX Corporation. “We look forward to working with our franchisees and helping set industry standards for high-quality tire care, innovation and first-class operations.”
TIREMAX has a strong track record in building and operating successful retail tire stores throughout Texas. Typically, the initial investment for a franchise operation is around $121,700 according to Wilkerson.
TIREMAX launched its franchise program to answer growing consumer demand for people looking for small business options. The popularity to coax more miles out of existing vehicles instead of buying a new car has put retail tire stores on track to be a huge opportunity in this $30 billion industry.
“We’ve spent the past 10 years developing systems for the best customer service in the tire industry. We also spend a lot of time educating our employees,” said Wilkerson. “We are passionate about having every customer leave our store and say ‘wow’ that was great. You don’t hear that often when purchasing tires. And, I have to say we exceed our customer expectations.”
The TIREMAX FranchiseConcept
The TIREMAX concept puts in place from the very start the “wow experience” that is unprecedented in the tire industry.
• Powerful value- Every franchisee benefits from competitively priced tires through volume pricing, which then can be passed onto customers.
• Good neighbor- As part of the TIREMAX franchise experience, every customer is offered free tire balance, free tire repair and free tire inspection.
• Customer service- Everything has been designed to communicate ‘wow’ to customers, and that starts with customer service from the start.
• Impressive exterior- The TIREMAX distinctive look will visually set the retail store apart from other retail tire dealers.
• Stunning showroom- The TIREMAX state-of-the-art facilities offer cappuccino, plasma TV, and support a pride of ownership.
• Exceptional staff- From the start, TIREMAX believes in rigorous selection standards, plus the benefit of TIREMAX’s marketing expertise and consumer understanding.
“We are looking for serious entrepreneurs who have high personal standards of excellence and the capital to invest in a franchise backed by a proven business model,” said Wilkerson.

“Without exception, we are a tire and wheel store,” said Chris Wilkerson, president of TIREMAX of North America. “We kick a lot of tires in our shops, but nothing compares to the 66 x 43-inch tires that crush cars, vans and motor homes as easy as stepping on aluminum cans!”
TIREMAX carved a niche for itself by concentrating exclusively on offering name brand tires installed in 30 minutes or less with a 110-percent money back guarantee.
The new store is located at 3709 S. Medford, 936-632-9000.

“Good tires with healthy tread are extremely important to safety, and we’re alarmed by the fact that unchecked, under-inflated tires pose a significant threat to some 40 percent of cars that have at least one under-inflated tire, a condition that can lead to skidding, loss of control, hydroplaning, flat tires and blowouts, all of which can lead to accidents,” said Rodney Salmon, Vice President of Operations of TIREMAX of North America.
“As customers will learn, we like to have fun, but we want drivers to be safe, and tires are a big part of that,” Salmon added.
The community is invited to join in on the Ride Safe, Have Fun! activities, which include:
* A chance to win a free set of tire

TIREMAX technicians are also available to check a customer’s tire pressure to ensure motorist’s tires are safe for travel.
“When we opened our first store in 2000, and we knew we had to quickly establish a
reputation for being knowledgeable and fast, and for offering better service. I know it sounds
cliché but, we don’t just meet the typical service standards, we take pride in exceeding the standards,” Salmon said. “Safety is extremely important to us. We hope we are known for promoting safety in the communities we serve.”

HOUSTON – (March 3, 2009) – TIREMAX of North America, known for its upscale tire and wheel stores, today announced its four member angling team set to compete in the Professional Anglers Association Series, Bassmaster Southern Open and FLWStren tournaments in 2009.
Fishing for Team TIREMAX will be pros Chris Wilkerson, Andy Gaia, Ricky Guy and Tony Murray.
The announcement comes on the heels of Gaia’s 2008 Top Ten finish at the Bassmaster’s Central Open event on Lake Texoma tournament. Gaia, a 45-year-old from Tomball, has been a pro angler for 13 years. He is one of the most accomplished anglers using his Kistler rods. Gaia will represent TIREMAX from his Ranger boat running a Yamaha engine.
“It’s honor to be back on the trail again this year,” said Chris Wilkerson. “We are especially thrilled to announce this winning team and know this is going to be a successful season for all of us, both in the boat and in the store.”
Pro Chris Wilkerson of The Woodlands, TX, has six years experience fishing professional and is a Texas lake expert. A few of his notable accomplishments include winning the 2008 AnglersQuest Angler of the year, one tournament win and eight top ten finishes on the FLWtournament trail. Wilkerson also set a new record on the LCHH tournament trail catching 3 fish weighing in at 22.98lbs. Falcon® Rods Expert™Series will be the rod of choice for Wilkerson throughout the tournament trail in 2009. He will run for team TIREMAX the new 09 Basscat Cougar FTD with the new 250 Evinrude E-TEC H.O. engine.
Pro Ricky Guy a Humble, TX resident is no stranger to the tournament trail. Since 2003, Guy has fished more than 26 events. In 2008, Guy was also named 2008 Angers Quest Angler of the year. He is quite proud of his 2007 largest day's catch weighing in at 25 lbs, 3 oz, at the Stren Series on Lake Amistad, TX. The secret to Guy’s success is his American Rodsmiths rods. Guy will be fishing out of a 09 BassCat Cougar FTD and will run the new 250 Evinrude E-TEC H.O. engine.
Pro Tony Murray, the newest member to the TIREMAX team, is a 26-year-old from Porter, TX. Murray says the new Basscat Cougar FTD is an excellent fishing platform with a great ride, speed and safety. “A lot of people ask me what’s the secret to catching fish,” said Murray. “I always explain it’s more important to choose a rod that works properly. That’s why I fish with American Rodsmiths rods. It’s all a matter of accurate casts and one that casts quickly.” Murray will fish out of a 09 BassCat Cougar FTD and will run a Mercury 250 Pro/XS engine.
All Team TIREMAX boats are serviced by Bowden Marine, who has more than 100 years combined experience in all aspects of marine service and repairs.
“Fresh water fishing is the perfect sport for our company,” Wilkerson said. “What our team does in the water, we do in our stores: we all do one thing and do it well. And we do it to win the hearts of our fans. We expect the 2009 season to be exciting and look forward to seeing our team’s strategy to reel in the fish they need to affect their wins.”
